Progressing Ballet Technique
I grew up dancing in Suffolk and completed my vocational exams in Ballet, Tap & Modern with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) & Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). I was a Suffolk Ballet Scholar, attended the ISTD Ballet awards and was selected to dance the Grade 4 ISTD ballet syllabus for the teacher training DVDs. I danced with the Company of Four, English Youth Ballet and later on the Chelmsford Ballet Company.
At 18 I moved to London to train at the RAD, graduating in 2019 with a BA (Hons) in Ballet Education & Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Dance.
Upon graduating I began teaching at Dulwich Ballet School where I taught dancers from Pre-Primary through to Advanced 2. I entered many dancers for ballet exams and awards and am proud to say dancers consistently achieved high examination results. I provided private tuition for those interested in pursuing further vocational training with many going on to train with the top vocational schools. I also provided 1 to 1 tuition for those who benefitted from a more individualised teaching environment. I took an active role in choreographing full scale ballets and ran a successful dance camps during the summer holidays.
I taught extra curricular ballet & dance clubs at Alleyns Junior School, choreographing for their annual dance show and Year 6 performance.
I attend regular CPD events & have up to date DBS, First Aid & Safe Guarding Certificates & a Professional Chaperones Licence.

What Syllabi do we follow?
Royal Academy of Dance Ballet

The Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet syllabus is a globally respected training system which carefully considered children's physical and cognitive development. The syllabus is engaging and varied, incorporating orchestral music, character dance & props to inspire creativity, performance & musicality whilst developing a strong technical foundation.
Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Tap & Modern

The Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) Tap syllabus develops the physical ability to communicate through movement, sound & rhythm in an expressive & artistic way.
The ISTD Modern Theatre syllabus trains versatile, disciplined, and technically accurate dancers. It develops a strong foundation in modern, jazz, and theatrical dance styles through structured progression.
Classes
We offer combined Ballet & Tap Classes for dancers in Preschool, Pre Primary & Primary (approx 2 - 7 years). Together these dance styles help children to establish an excellent foundation for future dance training, supporting them in growing into confident & versatile dancers.
